Souldado - "El Momento" Video Premiere!!!
(If you have problems viewing this, disable the HD : Si tiene problemas viendo esto, desactiven el HD)
We mentioned that this was coming a little while back, but HERE IT IS!!! BAM!!!
This is SOULDADO's FIRST Music Video (of many more...) and we really hope you enjoy it!
The song is called "El Momento" from the "Amores Perros Mix Tape Vol. 1" (which you can download HERE), and is produced by our homies Sid Roams who are well known for banging out HEATERS for Evidence, Prodigy, Big Twinz, Dilated Peoples, and many others! The video was directed by Oliver Quintanilla and myself (RiF), and features a couple cameos by Danny Boy (La Coka Nostra, House of Pain), Bravo (Sid Roams), Javi Lopez, and a few more of our close Fam. It's an under ground video (the "big budget one is on the way!), but we all put our hearts and souls into it, so we hope everyone feels it!
We'd like to send some love to all of our people's who looked out on the making of this video: Oliver Quintanilla, Porse, Matty Holder, Sly, My Momz (I love YOU!), Tawd Dorenfeld, Danny Boy, DISSIZIT! Brand (SLICK & Tina, thanks for the SICK gear!), Sid Roams (Bravo & Joey), CookBook, Javi Lopez, Big Arturo, Big Lupe, Altered State (Slim, Desi & Damage), Solana, Vicky, Nich, Vince & his dad Dennins Felder, Crade, Big Ace, Buyo, all the other Low Riders, and all of the tourist in Santa Monica that were bugging on us shooting in front of that statue!

Much love,
-RiF.

UCLA Jazz & Reggae Fest
My Girlfriend and I took our yearly trip to the UCLA Jazz & Reggae Festival this past Sunday, and this time we opted to go on the Jazz day because the line up on the Reggae day was sorta "blah", and we had seen most of the good artists on the bill before.
It was crowded as usual (maybe even more than ever!), and it was a beautiful day. I've seen De La Soul many times before and they rocked the crowd as usual, but I was really moved by Eykah Badu's performance! I've never seen her live before and always thought she was "pretty dope", but this show fortified me as an official Fan! She KILLED and Elctro version of "Aple Tree", that had to have been in same the key as "Planet Rock"!!!

Jun Cha x Jermaine Dupri
Our good friend Jun Cha recently had the opportunity to do some tattoo work on the legendary Hip Hop producer/artist/mogul Jermaine Dupri. A lot of people have been talking about this piece on the web because it features JD's high profile wife Janet Jackson as The Virgin Mary and is a clear display of his love and respect for her.
